I dreamt they held Croquet in the Great Hall, which was not the Great Hall as we know it, but like a theatre, only with less seats, and a steep angle up from the stage. _

I got Sunday in the Park With George from Netflix because I flipped the TV on one night while making earrings (earrings are far more interesting to make if the TV is on), and decided that PBS's history of Broadway was more interesting that ER, and I think their bit on Sunday in the Park With George was the part where I turned it on (maybe something came before it.) Anyway. The first act was interesting. The second act was...well...it felt like reading the Calvin and Hobbes 10 year thing where pretty much half the commentary is "this is why my syndicate sucks. Oh, yes, do they suck. Oh, by the way, did I tell you that they suck?" It was all about an artist who felt he had nothing new to say, which, I understand from this thing I saw on PBS was pretty much the way Sondheim was feeling at the time of writing the musical. _

Way to tell you're kind of out of it: You open up the mail, see there was Netflix, open it up, say "Wow! A movie! That I knew was coming!" and then, without thinking, because this is what you do wtih Netflix envelopes, you seal it back up. _

Jamie has apparently gotten more than one old fashioned mail chain letters, where you wind up sending someone money. Connor and I think it's weird. Then I remembered the chain letter that I got when I was six, where there were like five names and addresses, and you sent a postcard to the person at the top of the list, took their name off the list, added your own to the bottom, and sent it to five people. You were supposed to get hundreds of postcards. I never got one. But the idea was cool, and pretty innocent, as chain letters go, all that anyone got was postcards, and all you had to pay was a couple bucks in stamps. _

I am slowly collecting postcards from all over the world. Katherine sent me one while she was on vacation in Ghana, Nate and Rebekah sent me one about half a year ago, and I just hung Katherine's next to one from Nick in China. It's all very exciting. I like postcards. _

Is it possible to make Access come up with something at the end? Like, say, it knows that since the earring is made of silver, it's number 1, it's style is 01, it's color is 03, and it's accent is 0? Or, do I have to do that all manually? _

The Sims 2 is now available for the Mac, but you need 1.2 gHz to run it. I was so excited about it coming out for Mac, and getting a new(er) computer, and since I don't have a brand new computer, I can't play it! I'm so disappointed. _

We played a game of 5 person hearts. I dislike hearts in general, but usually kick ass, but at 5 person hearts I suck, so it's a game I dislike, and I lose, so I generally don't have fun. Anyway, it wound up with the last hand with everyone in the game within 12 points of 100. Aaron had decided we should listen to the Pirates of the Carribean soundtrack, which Jamie and I had found funny, but all of the sudden, the intensity of it was entirely fitting. Connor wound up hitting 100 exactly, and Jamie went over with the queen and several hearts. _

Today I got an email from people trying to rip me off pretending to be PayPal, and I fell for it, until I started reading part of the website, and it kept talking about Wells Fargo, so I reported it to PayPal and changed my password. Connor made me feel pretty dumb about it. _

I don't think I've told this story. When Jamie and I were at Barnes and Nobles to buy Harry Potter, she bought some book (I don't remember what it was) before midnight; she wasn't sure if she should wait til she was buying the Harry Potter, and so I pointed out that it would just be easier on the cashier if she bought it before they were trying to sell Harry Potter as fast as possbile. Anyway, we were standing up by the cash register, and this like 10 year old girl comes up, and says "do you know who wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?" The woman behind the cash register didn't even seem to look at her, and said "Roald Dahl" and then spelled Dahl. Then, when the girl left, the three of us laughed about it and rolled our eyes, cause it all had this "do you think that girl wanted to read that book because it stars Johnny Depp" sort of feel to it. _

Last night, I dreamt I brushed my hair out, so the curls were gone, and it was straignt, and it covered my butt. And was healthy (which it isn't). It made me sad, when I woke up, because I'm planning on cutting it to my shoulders next week. _

I am used to walking around Penn with an iPod, and the areas west of Penn, where I lived, where it was still mostly broke students, and it seemed like half the people you saw had white earbuds in. But, the past few days, I've walked around in York, taking Ben for a walk during work, or being sent to Subway for Chris's lunch when I had nothing to do, and he was busy and hungry, and I had my iPod, and I felt extremely self-concious, and at one point today, I thought a guy was following me. I don't think it's particularly poorer here than it is where I was (although, I was living in University City, and West Philly gets nasty a few blocks in most directions from where I was living, and it might be more bordering like that). It was all very odd. _

We went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Imax theatre, so I have a two questions for those of you who saw it at normal theaters: coul dyou see every pore on Johnny Depps face, and did August Gloop look like he was made of plastic (and Veruca too, only not quite as much)? _
