Lysander in the production of Midsummer's Night Dream wore this tee shirt with "Logo" printed on the front, looking like a logo like is often seen on shirts worn by silly people. I thought it was really cute and funny, but apparently they made it for the show. _

Also, I went into Borders for the hell of it, and they had Harry Potter candy, so I got ice mice, fizzing whizzbees and a chocolate frog. _

I got a job! One of the temp agencies I talked to called me to tell me they have a job for me that will start on Wednesday and pay $9 an hour, and it's work with phones and typing, so, it's nice... _

So, tonight I went to Jamie's play, and enjoyed it immensely. Puck was particuarly well done, in that sort of crazed way that you so rarely see. He reminded me of the faeries watching the play in the Sandman, finding "I am that merry wanderer of the night" so incredibly amusing and correcting it with something like "I am that sociopath who might kill you in the night." Jamie played the Mechanical who is the man in the moon, which meant she had little to do. _

Spades is really a great game. Even if bidding anything below a four (other than a zero) really is a waste of a hand.I love cards with Sue, Aaron and Austin. _

My wrist still hurts from when I tripped down the stairs. It particularly hurts on days when it rains, or when I drive stick. It didn't really occur to me that it was raining when I started making bread until it got to the kneading stage, at which point I decided to use the kneading hook on the mixer rather than to knead by hand. Which is a shame, cause it's fun to knead by h and. _

It is also worth mentioning that I have no attention span. Or a job.Which means I float around the house and try to find things to do. Which are unproductive. Cause doing productive stuff is boring. I spent most of yesterday looking at Harry Potter websites. I'm so glad that Elizabeth suggested books to read. Even if I don't have them, and I was halfway through Angels and Demons before I got distracted, and I have Sailing to Sarantium and The Lion of Al Rassan sitting, unread, in my bedroom. _

Wednesday is bread day. I thought about making lavendar meringues, but it's raining, and I don't really feel like sepearting eggs.
I do want to cook with the lavendar I bought at the Whole Foods in Charlottesville (I fell in love with their bulk food section, largely because of the bulk herbs which included lavendar), but maybe I'll make shortbread. _

I went to check my yahoo mail this morning, and they have made everyone's mailboxes 100MB rather than the 4 they used to be. This makes me very happy. Mine has always had 6MB rather than 4, cause I got it back when they were 6 rather than 4, and as I kept mine consitantly at at least 5, they could hardly tell me to stop, now. But now it's huge, and that's kind of exciting. But I still wish there were a computer which let my nice new exciting email work. _
