It annoys me that the big name that's so recognizable for Orlando Bloom is "Will Turner." I mean, for crying out loud. Couldn't they go with a slightly more unusual first name? William. It's one of the most common names ever. _

Netflix seems to think I've rented Clockwork Orange. Which is intersting, because I know I haven't. I must've gone through and rated stuff at some point, or something, because apparently I've rated it and everything. _

There are certain words (like my yahoo screen name and my password) which I can type incredilby quickly. I rarely think about it, and when I try to switch hands, or lean over someone, it comes out much more slowly. _

I'd been hoping that Girl With the Pearl Earring and Sylvia would get nominated for Oscars, because then there would be a chance of them coming back to theatres around here. If they came at all. _

It's almost April. I mean, of course, it's not actually almost April, but it's far closer to April than it has been. And it will be a very good sort of book to have. _

The people in my glass class don't read. They were commenting on it today, because the instructor kept talking about books. They all thought it was weird. I pretty much said "hey, I read all the time. I read a book this morning." _

I read The Summerhood of the Pants or something like that today. I had a couple of hours to kill on the northside of town, and it seemed like two long a time to hang out at Barnes and Nobles, so I hung out at Borders and drank their coffee and read the book. I'd seen it a couple of times while running through the YA section, and thought about it, and never done anything with it, cause I was never killing time, and it was expensive. I read the whole thing. It reminded me of...I don't even know what it reminded me of. I liked it a lot. I even cried. I almost bought the sequel, but then I decided not to buy a hardback book. _

Conversation today at TCS:
C__:" I helped out this school, and they gave me this old Mac. I think it's cool, cause I've never really played with a Mac before."
K__(computer geek): "What kind of Mac?"
C__: "I don't know. Old, but new enough to have an OS."
K__: "Of course it has an OS. All computers have an OS."
Me: "Unless it were something like an Apple IIE, they didn't really."
C__: "Well, that's the last Apple I knew about, so..."K__: "What does it look like?"
C__: "A box with a monitor."
Me: "Does it have a disc drive?"
C__: "What? Of course it has a disk drive! All computers have disk drives!"
Me: "A floppy drive? Cause Apples haven't come with those in years."
C__: "Yes, it has one. And that's really dumb. Everyone needs disk drives." _

I wanted to play the Sims on Connor's computer, cause I have bunches of the expansion packs which I could play with. But the first disk is all scratched up, so I can't even install the original. Plus, they're all downloaded copies (except the ones I copied from Julia), so I can never be sure if they'll work at all. _
