And today I go back to St. John's, where it might become very obvious that I was reading Harry Potter instead of Leibniz all weekend. _

That being said, I did enjoy the Harry Potter books. I have been enjoying them incredibly all week. And I'm now going to go off and steal my brother's copy of the first one, cause Cassie was missing it when I was borrowing all of hers, once I do the dishes, as I promised my mom I would. _

Peggy: "My 13 year old nephew said to me: 'I just read those Harry Potter books, Peggy, and I liked them. And then I read Steinback, and well...the characters in the Harry Potter books were just so flat.'" _

Neil-- Yes, I have the Sims. I enjoy it immensely. The worst part of the game is that once I start playing, I have troubles quitting the game. I am very proud of my family that I go crazy everytime I try to play with now, though. Um...If you want more details about the game, find me on AIM sometime and ask me. _

We had one person talk (well, the tutors talked too) for an hour. An hour. Granted, none of the rest of us wanted to talk. And at least he wasn't one of the people who has a tendancy towards driving me nuts, but...We were all pretty much falling asleep. _

My room is a huge gigantic mess. It's starting to stress me out, but I don' the the time to clean it up. Or at least, I don't have the time to clean it up right now. I have four knitting projects lying around my room, unsure of where they are supposed to go. It suks. _

Mr. Borjesson hsan't looked at me since I got back. This is not like Mr. Allanbrook's not having looked at me since I got back, since the only times I've seen Mr. Allanbrook since I got back, he was talking with other people. He (Mr. Borjesson) is completely and totally ignoring me. I find this vaguely entertaining. Yesterday I was sitting on the stage right next to someone before J chorus started, and he walked up to get his music, and said hi to her, how are ou, without acknowledging my presence at all. Of course, I haven't said anything to him either, but that is mostly because I'm afraid I'll say something rude like "Hi, look, I'm back, you ass, I bet you really didn't want to ever see me again, did you?" _

The breaks they give us at St. John's seem to be perfectly timed so that just as I'm getting exhausted and tired of people, we have a break, and I can go home and sleep. In my lovely lovely bed. _

Skiing in Vermont, while I'm sure it's lovely, is nowhere near as cool as skiing in Alberta. Manmade snow sucks. At least, though, we will fulfill a large function of this trip, and the entire family will be together for a week, rather than two days, and that will be very nice indeed. _

I will amend my earlier assertion that St. John's is remarkably conservative to: I came from a group of friends and family who, with the exception of my grandparents and most of my dad's family, is remkarably liberal. So, in comparison to them, the amount of people with conservative views who I'm currently friends with seems like a really large amount of people. _
