They also sell the crystal cubes we need for fandangles, but they are more expensive than they were on the website Jamie found. _

And then, today, the jewelry making catalogue we were waiting for showed up, and they sell the chain things I was looking for. _

So, I have these earrings (which I bought, not ones that we make) which are think chain, with the ends capped so it is small, and runs through your ear. I have two pairs of these, one is just a chain, the other has a crystal. They are cool. I like them. I have this idea, for a pair of earrings to make, with this kind of chain thing, with three crystal cubes, getting bigger as you get away from the middle of the chain, with some space of chain in between. But I don't have a clue how they make these earrings. Does anyone (Cassie?) have any ideas? _

Interesting thing. On the British Half Blood Prince, you see Dumbledore's right hand, on the American the left. _

I made hummus without a recipe in front of me, and found that I'd added too much lemon juice and soy sauce, so all of the sudden it tasted like salt and lemons, and not really at all like chick peass, so, I had to add an extra can of chick peas in. It tastes really good. _

Seriously, the most convinced I've been of "this is probably how it was pronounced" was that at least at one point, a lot of Roman's pronounced they're "v's" as "b's" because of looking at tombstones. _

As cool as I think this could be, I don't begin to understand how they think they know how Shakespeare's accent would've sounded. (This is similar to my wondering why they think there was a Great Vowel Shift, and how they think they know what things sounded like beforehand. I've heard people say it had stuff to do with rhymes in poetry, but it still doesn't really make sense to me.) _

So, what I would like to see is how sales of Harry Potter compare to sales of opening weekend movie tickets for...I don't know. Maybe Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or maybe something like Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. I think it could be interesting. _

It's been a really long time since I didn't flip to the end of a book to find out what is going to happen towards the beginning of reading it (except Lemony Snicket, where it would really get you nowhere). But I'm not doing it with the latest Harry Potter. I thought, well, I can read it once without knowing what's going to happen, and that's kind of cool. I feel sort of like I'm playing Russian Roullette, cause it's like who is the Half-Blood Prince? Who is Snape actually working for? Aaah! _

Tori's public service announcement for the day:

Tylenol can be very bad for your liver. Do not take more than the recommended allowance, and don't take it for a long time. Even if you get migranes. Maybe especially if you get migranes. You could die.

Thank you. That will be all. _

Trader Joe's sells these lavendar dryer bags. They are awesome. You put them in with your clothes, and your clothes come out smelling like lavendar. The box they come in says they're good for about ten washes, and then you should cut them open and spread the lavedar flowers on the floor before vacuuming. Anyway, now my clothes smell all lavendar-y, and that's pretty nifty. _

Jamie and I straighted my hair today. This is something that will probably not happen again for a long time, because it took a long time, and there are still curls. It's actually rather amusing, because when I was little, my hair was straight as sticks, and we would try to curl it for special occasions, and the curls would last like five minutes tops. Anyway, this is a picture.
