I made hummus with dried chick peas instead of canned chick peas today. It took all weekend to get the chick peas to a decent chick pea hardness, but it's the best hummus I've ever eaten.

I had this brilliant idea this evening while I was cutting glass that it would be okay to lever myself by resting my arm on the table, on the paper covered in little bits of glass. I have teeny-tiny little scratches all over my arm. They make it look like (well, like I leaned on teeny tiny bits of glass) I was attacked by a very small cat. Or something. Only one of them bled.
