Yesterday my mom came down, we bought a graduation dress and sent stuff home. My closet is mostly empty. I sent home most of the pretty dresses hanging up, and shirts and so on. There are a few dresses, for Collegium and for dinners and the cocktail party, and some skirts in general, because most of my jeans are covered in clay. And my cap and gown. I think I need to close the door to my closet, cause it's all distressing.

My mom is coming down and we are going to go to the mall to get me a graduation dress, and shoes and whatnot. I'm thinking I want this dress. I tried it on the other day at the mall (in white, not black, but I have a lot of white dresses from Croquet over the years, and I like black better), and it looked cute.

We went out for fondue, which was lovely, and our waiter rocked and gave us free stuff, like more stuff to dip in chocolate when we ran out, and a free cosmo that was an accident in the bar as we sat there and waited for Katherine to return with the car. They threw stuffed animals into the audience while they were singing Pierce's song. I was all sad I didn't catch one, so Amy gave me hers, because I mentioned it, and I'm a senior; I thought she was letting me hold it, and then she wouldn't take it back. It made me very happy.

High notes are funny, cause I can feel them start to squeak, and feel like I'm topping out my range, and then I throw where the sound's coming from, and suddenly it feels like there's at least another fifth to go. And when you're in a chorus it all depends on who you're standing near how the notes are willing to come out of your throat.

My first plates came out of the glaze firing. They're totally cool looking. They're about the size of the dessert plates in the dining hall, black with glass on top, each one with a different colour glass (three different shades of green and one blue).
