I managed to go several hours without popping pain killers, but then I started hurting again. I think I am out of the painkillers the nurse gave me, and I know I'm out of the pseudo-sudafed she gave me. Hopefully I can find the aspirin I got in my stocking at Christmas for tomorrow, and hopefully the mall isn't closing at some ungodly early hour due to Easter the next day so I can go to CVS and get painkillers there as well as hair dye on my way to the bookstore to pick up my book.

I went down to the pottery studio, and succeeded in throwing two nice, small, plates. And I totally destroyed my two of my fingernails. They cracked and are low and I can't seem to be able to file them clean.

I want to go to Borders now. Not tomorrow, not Saturday when Brianne said she'd take the bus out to the mall with me, but now. I want to pick up my book, and I want to curl up and read it until it's over. I don't want to go to class and talk about some idiot and his tattoos, or his wife and whatnot. I don't particularly want to go to lab either. And I want to throw more pots.

Both of my totally awesome kick ass plates had too much glass and broke. Isn't that sad? What perhaps makes it even sadder is that I'd gone down to the pottery studio to take glass off only to find that they were about to take them out of the kiln.

49 West was lovely. I'm not sure if my chocolate mousse pie or Cassie's chambord cheesecake was nicer. Cassie's chambord Italian phosphate was lucious. My amarreto "martini" (read: amarreto and vodka in a martini glass, Martin) was...interesting. I ate the cherry they stuck in it when I was finished drinking it, and tied the stem in a knot with my tongue. This is something I have never succeeded in doing without having a drink first. It was lovely. The evening, not the cherry thing.

The nurse said I don't have an ear infection, but my ear drum is pushed in, which sometimes happens when you're sick, it's probably viral if anything, and so she gave me no other drugs than sudafed and pain killers. Both of my ears really hurt.
