In response to whether or not we sopranoes should try to shut off our vibrato, Mr. Kalkavage told us to "BEEE little boys." (I'm sorry, it's hard to put Mr. Kalkavage speech into text and get it right.) _

Trying to warm up, I put a fleece skirt on over my jeans, put my sweatshirt on, and put my gloves on to try to warm up my fingers. I opened my door cause the hall is much warmer than my room, and then I sort of bounced around the room a bit shaking my hands to try to get my blood flowing again. Hector tore around his tank like he was going to attack something. I am trying to type in gloves, and I'm finding it rather hard. _

I like red glass almost as much as I like cobalt glass. What a shame you don't see many bottles of wine in red glass. _

All right, maybe my hair is still pretty long. I just found a piece of hair attached to my hamper, and it was definately longer than I thought it ought to be, considering how short I feel like my hair is. But when I held it up to my head, it came down about as long as my hair does. _

Well, I warned Cassie as much as I dared with out giving her any spoilers when she came by on her way to borrow last nights episodes of Utena. She looked a little mystified as I stood there and said "be warned." _

I like my feet. I was noticing/deciding this while I was in the shower this morning. I'm glad I never danced on point, it does horrible things to your feet (although my toes are apparently the right sort of toes for dancing on point, the first three inside toes are about the same length, which I understand makes it easier). _

I'm not actually entirely sure I like using BLT. I think I prefer to go to Moss's blog and follow the links to all the blogs I read. _

I like to stand in the bathroom and wonder about who belongs to which shelf. Particularly, I wonder who belongs to the shelf with the hypoallergenic olive oil shampoo as approved in the Edgar Cayse readings. _

It's interesting to go look at the page imdb has about Troy and look at the message boards, cause there are people there who have actually read the books. **gasps in shock** There is someone who posts named HectorPriamide, which had me impressed. _

Goverments and War! That was it! (Sorry, as I hit submit, I remembered.) In war today, the goverment is a seperate entity, sending people off to fight and die, but in the Iliad they were right there on the battle field with you. _

I dreamt last night that I was in a seminar thing on the Iliad was four other students, one grown-up tutor/professor-y type person. At least one of theother students was a jock, and none of them had read the book before. And I was sitting there with my little notebook of Notes For My Senior Essay. I had some break through, in this dream, about something in the book, but I have no idea what it was. _

All I have wanted to eat today and yesterday is popcorn. Normal, buttery-salty popcorn. Mandi gave me this kettle corn stuff, which was sweet and interesting, but it didn't really finish off my craving. _

A freshman wrote up this cute little thing in the Gadfly that's Ptolemy Stone reading horoscopes. It comes complete with readings of the week, which include: Neverwhere and/or Sandman (for Aries), Poe (for Taurus), Calvin and Hobbes (the comic strip, for Virgoes), The Little Prince (for Libra), and Aesop's fables (for Sagitarius). There's Parmenides in there as well, and leaves of Grass, and a few other things I've not heard of, but it's cute all in all. _

There are women in pantene comercials with curly hair that's all tame and shiny, and I look at it and think, is there anyway I could make my curls look like that? The answer, of course, is probably not. _
