I want a table that's at about bed height, but one you can have your legs under, to use, to sit on the floor at to study. _

I found in the pocket of yesterdays jeans $15 that I'd thought were in my wallet and freaked out about when I was going to give Sonia money for fondue stuff this evening (I had 5 ones, but that's not the same thing at all, even though that's what I gave her). This makes me much happier. I hope my Chorus folder shows up. _

Doing a search for Ani DiFranco on Google seems to lead to a lot of pages people have taken down. And her official site. I didn't go past 2, though. _

Mandi Bell, who recently moved into the room abandonded by a girl moving off campus, saw my room last night and said "your room is darker cause of the dark fabric you have hanging up." To which I replied something along the lines of "oh! it's the dark fabric! I've been on this long quest to make my room brighter!" But I like my fabric, and I'm just going to wait till I get light bulbs for my new lights. _

There was a parade today, celebrating the new governer. Cassie and I tried to get to Annabeth's, which was interesting, cause we wound up having to cross through the parade, and then she was closed! Mr. Grenke was standing in the crowd, and evidentaly recognized me as "random Johnny" and smiled at me, which was odd, cause I didn't realize he knew me from a whole in the ground. _

My copy of The Wake has gone missing. This distresses me. Maybe it is Philiadelphia with Connor's friend Dan, but I didn't lend him The Kindly Ones so I probalby didn't lend him The Wake as well. _

Last night I pulled every Ani CD off my shelf and put them by my CD player. I've been going through them in order since then, with a brief interruption earlier today to listen to the Capitol Steps. It's an interesting sort of thing to do. I'm on Not a Pretty Girl right now, and I'm remembering that I do actually quite like this one. _

The woman who cut my hair cut these bits that fall in my face. Now, when I'm wearing my hair down and they're all curly, this is fine and dandy, and I like these bits. But when I haven't washed my hair so it's all poofy and therefore being pulled back, they don't stay in place, and this annoys me. _

Am I the only one who in their first reading of the bit in Tam Lin where Janet and Thomas are talking about the idiots in their Greek class and Janet asking one of them to tell her future subjuctive of the verb blapto sat there and thought a moment, and then said "there is no future subjunctive!" _

It's interesting how sound gets transmitted through a floor/ceiling. Bits are intensified, bits are made more quiet. Your upstairs neighbour, for example, is almost always moving furniture, for all you can tell below them. Music is an interesting phenomenon, cause it doesn't all come through. _

My room is cold, even more my tastes. It's nice for sleeping, but not for doing anything else, especially not if it involves sitting at my computer, cause the desk is next to the window, which is extremely poorly insulated, and cold air just fills it. _
