I keep killing the horse. Granted, it's not a real horse, and it keeps coming back everytime I kill it, but I keep landing the guy on the horse. I swear I didn't used to be this bad at this game. _

Can you still get that game, I think it was Stunt Copter, where you drop the guy off the helicopter into the wagon of hay? And if you can, will it be friendly on my iMac? _

I spent a very long time hoping that Moving Pictures would eventually come out in paperback, and not cost $12 because it was imported from England (I did spend a ridiculous amount of money on Soul Music, but there were special exceptions for that, mostly that I was about to fly from Amsterdam to New York and I had finished all the books with me, and I needed something, and Terry Pratchett was the only author in the bookstore whose name I recognized). And it did. And I bought it. And it makes me happy, but first I have to finish Guards Guards. And perhaps more importantly I have to do all sorts of other things, like read Newton, and Kant and Racine and Faraday. _

One day, when I have a car, I will put on lots of bumper stickers of the extrememly liberal sort. The sort that when I see them on other people's cars, they make me incredibly happy and want to walk up to them and congradulate them on the wonderful choice of bumper stickers, but I never do because I can never trust the red light to be long enough. The sort that make me think that maybe things aren't nearly as depressing in the world as I'd been thinking they were, what with the way people act these days. _

Last night I realized that I have lost my French notebook. This pariticularly sucks because in my French notebook I have the first half of this long speech of Phaedra's that I'm supposed to hand in all translated. I was going to type the whole thing up nice and pretty. But I can't find it, and that sucks. I found my math notebook which I'd thought I'd lost in October or something.
Also, the network is ridiculously slow. _

Mr. Umphrey wandered sort of lost looking into my seminar room a bit before 8. We figured he must have a senior seminar, and has forgotten which room he'd been in back before precepts started. _
