9 inches of snow this weekend. Fine powdery stuff, no good for snowballs. I have barbecued and been sledding, on the same day. On the way back an older woman asked us where we'd been coasting. I'd never heard coasting used before. Is it regional, or just old fashioned? _

Having just learned of it's existence a few days ago, we are attempting to make bean pie. It is in the oven. The basic idea seems to be to mask the bean flavor with heroic quantities of vanilla. _
