I wish that I had it in me to write extremely long entries in my bloglet. Most of the time things seem to come to me in bits and pieces. For example:
I may quit my job soon. What brought this about? Was it missing Liz? Well, I've done that since I got here, so partially, but it wasn't what's making the decision easier. Do I hate my job? No, in fact I have now adjusted to the job to the point that I feel I am a good and valuable member of production and that losing me will be a loss. That's not it. The thing that really tipped the scales towards 'I'm really thinking of quitting' was that my rent is getting raised. Well, it's not a deciding factor, but deciding whether I want to renew my lease definitely has made me think about whether I want to stay in Austin. Guess I'll find out this week...

I just had a rather wonderful day. The playtest was rather dull, but Car Wars the card game is pretty amusing, especially with the idea of Battle Cattle thrown in. I met some folks who do the website invisible city which publishes a new game, free every month. Their names were Jon and Sharon, and they came to Wan Fu and were entertained and then gave me a lift and we chatted for hours at my house, even though it's a wreck and I was embarassed. They're very easygoing and apparently we read some of the same webcomics.
I like having my bloglet back.

The most recent issue of X-Force is a sort of relaunch. It features all new characters, all of whom are part of a mutant superteam that are actually superstars and live a decadent lifestyle. They also kill off most of the new characters at the end of the issue.

I am done. At 6:37am (20 hours and 32 minutes after I had started) I put down my pens and pencils for the last time. I have a cover (of the masked character in front of one of the air balloons) and a title "Hypoteneuse Route" (thanks Mom!). Now to sleep the sleep of the righteous. I did cheat a bit with larger pages. Still I tried to make up in detail what I lacked in panels. I will try to post it as soon as possible. I did letter every word, but some of it might be unreadable. I will see. I have a big purple bruise on my thumb. I have now been awake for 24 hours.
I read through it and it's a fun little paranoia/adventure/space opera thingy. Maybe a little derivative, but fun nontheless. Whoo!

Just passed the 3/4 mark. It's getting good. I have a raging headache. Talked to Moss. We were both pretty out there but it was nice to hear a live voice. Next time definitely need to do this in a group.
