Wednesday evening we had Liz over and went to the heavenly Napoleon House followed by the quintessential tourist experience of beignets at Cafe du Monde. A good time was had by all (unless Liz was lying). Yesterday morning I fell on the stairs exiting the hotel. Liz and my sister were there to help fetch ice and so forth, but it rather put a damper on my construction abilities. I ended up cutting bits of siding with a utility knife and then sorting nails into their proper buckets. I also forgot to take photos. Alas. Now it is time to check out and drive North to Memphis where Dev's Harry potter party awaits. I'll try to post the backdated pictures from New Mexico and so forth before we get there.
