Julia's NaNoPage 2003

13 October, 2003

Myarrr! We're nearing the middle of October and I still don't know what my NaNoWriMo novel will be about. This is a little scary, but I have faith that something (anything!) will present itself soon. In the meantime, I'm keeping up with the writing exercises, so that's good. I've also been accumulating NaNoFriends and adding them to my sidebar. Check them out, because they are good people, and they have much prettier pages than mine.

6 October, 2003

Welcome to the NaNoPage. It's lavender (sort of) because that's the color I designated this year's NaNoWriMo to be in a letter to Dev. My plan is to have a writing exercise for each day of October. I started with a short short story for Espresso Stories (and they published it! It's called "The Avocado" if you want to go read it). Now we're about a week in and I am proud to say that I have kept up with the exercises so far. If anyone cares to do them with me, the instructions appear in the NaNoBlog (which is pea soup green because I am inept at coding and chose to use the easy way out that is known as blogger), and I would be happy to have company.

Questions? Comments? Suggestions for improvement? E-mail me or comment on the blog.
