Bloglet, the gentleman's mock turtle soup --
Moss made it sweeter than myrrh ash and dhoup

Re: preferences in audiobook narrators. Hm. As a general rule, I'll take an American dude over an American chick, and a British chick over either of the previous, but a British dude beats all. That's interesting. _

Direct from the source:

"Be the first kid on your block to install the latest version of Ribosome Builder ver. 0.3.4!!

It's just been released at http://rbuilder.sourceforge.net

This new improved version features an action-packed schematic simulation of the elongation cycle of translation - now at full ATOMIC RESOLUTION!!

Not only that, but with the Ribosome Builder you can start building your own complex simluations of other macromolecular systems that will amaze all the other kids in the neighborhood!

(Not available in stores, prolonged exposure may lead to the development of synchronized multi-lethal viruses and reconfiguration of the human species.)" _

Belated resolution: listen to more whole albums and operas. The (ok, damn it, admittedly cool) announcement of the iPod Shuffle has reminded me of how much I abuse my own mp3 player's shuffle function, at the expense of continuity, among many other things. I'm addicted to the stormy seaness of it all -- but I'm starting to feel what I'm missing, and remembering long bus rides with the Trout Quintet and gym class with The Final Cut and airport layovers full of Cosi Fan Tutte. So, first-off, it means setting aside a substantial block of time to listen without distractions, no bad thing. But, second, it means the chance to lose myself for an hour or two. It's an ability which, I've started realizing lately, used to be one of my few saving virtues, and has slowly diminished through lack of practice, leaving a feckless scattered void. So eep. So albums. _
